What is the insurance excess on a rental car?
Normally the standard insurance excess on all of our rental cars is around $2500. If you are under 25 years of age the excess could be $3500. This means that if you have an accident that is your fault, you are liable for any damages up to this amount. If you are in an accident that is not your fault, this amount is still held on your credit card until police and insurance reports clearing you of liability are delivered to us. If you would like to reduce this excess to a lower level it will cost you extra per day.

How many people are allowed to drive the car?
There are normally spaces for 4 drivers on the rental agreement and it does not normally cost any extra to add additional drivers although ther may be a few companies that do charge extra.
